Overall I am pleased with the purchase. This is a hefty knife and arrived heavily-oiled and covered with plastic wrap-but no rust. The Damascus blade is attractive and symmetric, sharp on both sides. Pommel/blade guard is solid steel with a pleasant mix of brass and steel inserts. Alignment of those inserts is a little off and the spiral Micarta handle had a few rough spots. Included sheath is minimalist and the snap closure holds the handle loosely. I was not given nor could I find on line any information regarding the knife maker or point of origin of any of the knives in the catalog thus leading me to suspect that the product was from overseas, just my opinion. Even if so, I recommend the company include that info in the future. The price was fair to good, considering the quality of the product and overall, I recommend this purchase and price point.
My father was in World War Two in the invasion of France . He was so brave and I have a half dollar bill which his comrades signed and he said if we survive this we can put the two half dollar bills together and have a few beers together
We had a little bit of an issue with shipping, but that was resolved. Absolutely love all the knives that I bought from this company. There are absolutely wonderful and I plan to buy more knives in the future.
Who is absolutely awesome I love the handle in the sheath as well as the blade of Damascus steel I thought it was a great value in quality product for the money.
It's a good dagger. Had to leather condition the sheath and oil the dagger handle, it soaked up a lot of mineral oil. I also had to sharpen the knife and clean the blade. Leather stain got on sheath snap. I cleaned it off and now there is a slight color difference. It's a good dagger for $100, but you must clean it up a bit. 😎
Here in the USA, the length of a knife's blade and its overall length are critical metrics. Looking at your photos, there is no way to understand how many centimeters or inches the blade is, which is critical information as some US states or cities restrict the length of a knife if it is carried in public.
